The Work: Originator, concept and Art direction in collaboration w/ Monique Benthin.

Working with handsome Rotterdam artists on a daily bases resulted in an after work collaboration between colleague, photographer and artist Monique Benthin and myself. Being unsatisfied by the way men are being represented in a sexy way for women, made us portray them ourselves.

Keeping it close to home, we chose Rotterdam artists and asked them how they would seduce women… on camera. Turning Ego into Erotic, cliche into real and sexy! The result: a photoserie of Rotterdam based young artists AND a calender of 13 sexy men, natural, un’photoshopped and hotdamn masculine!

Thanks to the Centre of Visual Arts in Rotterdam who believed in us and the project, we were able to make the calender.
